About the Artist

I grew up in the Washington, DC area and graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in fashion illustration. I worked for years in retail advertising as a fashion illustrator, layout artist and art director. I am currently working as a professional fine artist, creating portraits, animal and still life paintings in watercolors and oils. Since moving to Texas, I have become intrigued with the cowboy life. Many of my newer works reflect on the working cowboy ... and sometimes the handsome actors that play them on screen! I work often on commission, creating pet and human portraits.
